Intelligent Evolution and Collaborative Innovation in Robotics and Autonomous Systems
Date:
I was invited to give a talk at Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Innovation Center, entitled Intelligent Evolution and Collaborative Innovation in Robotics and Autonomous Systems.
This talk explores the development of intelligence in robotics and Autonomous Systems, drawing on my research in dexterous manipulation, tactile perception, motion planning and control, and dual-arm teleoperation. It discusses how multimodal perception, human-robot collaboration, and autonomous decision-making can be integrated. Through representative research examples, the talk traces the progression from human demonstrations and data collection to contact-aware perception, fine manipulation, and shared autonomy. It also examines how coordinated advances in data, algorithms, hardware, and evaluation can support the reliable operation of intelligent systems in real-world environments.
